A separate sink lets people wash outside the restroom enclosure. Foot pumps operate the water, while self-contained fresh and gray water tanks support a location without a permanent connection. We plan soap, paper towels and replenishment with the rental.

Construction washing in California
California Title 8, section 1527, requires at least one washing station for each 20 employees or fraction thereof: 20 workers need one, and 21 need two under that baseline. Water, soap and a sanitary drying method are required. The rule addresses placement outside non-water-carriage toilet facilities, with an exception for fewer than five employees using one toilet facility.

Food booths and guests have different needs.
For an Elk Grove public event, coordinate with Sacramento County Environmental Management before selecting food-handler equipment. A guest handwashing station does not automatically satisfy a food operator’s requirements. Some mobile food uses have their own restrictions on restroom arrangements; describe the actual food operation to the reviewing agency.

Place the sink where people leave the restroom without narrowing the accessible route. A multi-shift site or a long summer gathering can use supplies differently from a short party. Tell us about the full operating hours and request added service if water, soap or towels run low.
